Spécialisation en sismologie

La plupart des collaborateurs scientifiques du SED ont un master ou un doctorat dans le domaine de la géophysique. Si vous désirez devenir sismologue, le SED vous recommande de suivre un master en sciences de la Terre à l’ETH de Zurich, avec point fort en géophysique. Pour ceux qui ont une approche internationale, l’ETH Zurich propose un Joint Master in Applied Geophysics. Ces études se déroulent pour un tiers à l’ETH Zurich, un tiers à l’Université technique de Rhénanie-Westphalie à Aix-la-Chapelle (Allemagne) et un tiers à la Delft University of Technology (Pays-Bas).

Après l’obtention de votre diplôme, vous pouvez entreprendre un doctorat en sismologie. Le Service sismologique suisse accueille en général de huit à douze doctorants. Cette page vous indique si un poste de doctorant est actuellement ouvert au SED.
