My research centers on passive seismic methods to investigate the shallow subsurface and monitor aseismic deformation. A major part of this work involves numerical wavefield modeling in complex, multiply scattered media, aimed at improving our understanding of coda wave sensitivity.
Together with my team, I develop and apply these methods to challenges in geothermal energy, CO₂ storage, and environmental seismology. On the methodological side, we work to enhance imaging resolution and improve the reliability of seismic monitoring.
In addition, I contribute to studies of induced seismicity across a range of scales, with a particular focus on controlled experiments in the Bedretto Underground Laboratory.
