Florian Haslinger ist stellvertretender Direktor des SED und leitet gleichzeitig die Sektion "Unterstützung und Spezialprojekte". Er ist verantwortlich für den Bereich "Öffentlichkeitsarbeit & Medien" und für verschiedene Projekte am SED. In der Sektion sind auch die Gruppen IT-Support, Administration, und Elektronik-Labor (ELAB) angesiedelt.
