Geo-INQUIRE aims to enhance access to key geospheric data and services, improving the monitoring and modelling of geospheric processes with unprecedented precision. It addresses cross-domain barriers, particularly in land-sea-atmosphere environments, using advanced data management, AI, big data, and extended infrastructures to benefit the broader scientific community including the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). Geo-INQUIRE will enhance interoperability among its 51 partners and provide dedicated training programmes. It offers 150 Virtual Access (VA) and Transnational Access (TA) installations, both virtual and on-site, for example in the BedrettoLab. Geo-INQUIRE elevates existing resources by improving their availability, quality, and resolution, adhering to FAIR principles, standards, and open licenses. The integration of diverse data will be optimised through seven test beds hosting workshops and summer schools. This enhanced portfolio will enable next-generation scientists to conduct cutting-edge, multidisciplinary research addressing societal challenges. |
