Earth Sciences at ETH Zurich

The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at ETH Zurich currently has about 450 students studying for their bachelor’s or master’s degree or for their doctorate. At the very least, all third-year students who opt for the geophysics specialisation after completing their basic studies attend lectures and courses taught by SED staff, where they learn about seismological theories and methods.
