Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS)

The SED is involved in continuing vocational education and training through various Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) programmes, such as the CAS in Natural Hazard Risk Management and the CAS in Applied Earth Sciences at ETH Zurich. Together with the Federal Office for the Environment, it also teaches a module for the CS Assessment and Management of Geological and Climate-related Risk (postgraduate certificate of specialisation, 30 ECTS) at the University of Geneva.
