Richard Kramer

I joined the Seismic Interferometry Group at the SED as a postdoctoral researcher in 2025. My research involves combining seismic imaging and monitoring to characterise the subsurface using ambient seismic noise for geothermal and hydrogeological applications. More recently, I have extended this work to include monitoring natural hazards, with a focus on developing methods to better understand mountain hazards in the Swiss Alps.
