Earthquake Source

The earthquake source group at the Swiss Seismological Service (SED) is involved in questions related to the earthquake source process and earthquake scaling in Switzerland and worldwide. We apply various techniques to estimate focal mechanism, magnitudes and other source parameters such as corner frequency and radiated energy.
