As a post-doctoral researcher at SED, I am mainly involved in the numerical modelling of hydraulic stimulation of Enhanced Geothermal Systems and its relation to induced seismicity. High seismic risk associated with fluid injection in deep fractured reservoirs represents a curse for the worldwide development of EGS, whose financial success relies on controlling seismic activity. I believe numerical modelling will help us in understanding how the coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical processes affect seismicity.  In this respect, my research also focuses on the further extension of the real time traffic light system that is under constant development at SED.
