My research spans both Seismology and Volcanology. During my career I focused on understanding physical processes behind volcanic activity and earthquake source by using physics-based and statistical modeling. In particular I study/ied volcanic unrests and eruptive time series, seismicity induced by magmatic intrusions, tectonic earthquakes swarms triggered by aseismic transients like slow-slip events and fluid redistribution, modeling of gravity data for eruption early warning. At the SED I work on statistical and empirical modeling of induced seismicity within the framework of DEEP project.
