Conny Hammer is a Post-Doc at the Swiss Seismological Service (SED), ETH Zürich. Her main research interest is the application of pattern recognition techniques to seismological problems. She works on the automatic detection and classification of continuous seismic waveforms with a focus on gravitational mass movements. Furthermore she concentrates on gaining site specific information from a minimum number of available seismic stations.
