Here in SED, I mainly focus on the development of a real time traffic light, a tool that aims to assist EGS operators in important decision making during the stimulation of an EGS reservoir. Not only short and long term forecasts of the induced seismicity, but also the expected energy revenues are estimated by performing Monte-Carlo simulations with our in-house simulators that have been accordingly modified. Such a traffic light could maximize the commerciality of future EGS projects, since the long term effect of choices that need to be made during the very few first days of operation could be better predicted and understood.
